Follow-Up....

I wanted to post regarding my survey I posted on race car drivers and if people think they should be considered athletes.  I am actually pretty surprised that more people thought they should be considered athletes.  I consider race car drivers athletes because it takes skill to drive a race car up to 200mph.  They have to be in physical shape especially to get in and out of the race cars.  They also compete for a championship every year, known as the Sprint Cup.  Many people think athletes have to involve contact with other players, or even a ball.  To learn about Nascar driver I recommend going to www.nascar.com where you will find many interesting articles regarding the sport of auto racing.

Are Race Car Drivers athletes?

There is a lot of controversy about racing and race car drivers.  The biggest controversy is the question are race car drivers athletes?  I was wondering your opinion on this controversial question.  Please answer the question to the left and if you would like comment on your thoughts.

Off topic...

I wanted to share my love photography that I have had in the past.  I love to take pictures and before would take at least 100 pictures a day when my daughter was little.  Over the past year or two I slowly stopped taking pictures.  I even had a Nikon DSLR to take the pictures with.  I recently took a photography class and my love for photography reappeared.  I wanted to take pictures and learn how to use the Nikon camera.  I had learned about many features of the DSLR and was excited to start taking pictures again.  I would like to share a couple of the pictures I took after taking the photography class.

I was trying to change the shutter speed to get a clearer, crisper picture.  I also wanted to have the background blurred by focusing on the actual flower.  I think these pictures look pretty good considering I did not use it on the auto feature!  I love to take photos and I hope with the new knowledge that I can start having a hobby again!
